Maybe everyone already knew about this trick, you can change your hard drive icon manually without using any third party software. You just need to write a few words on notepad. In addition you can change the icon differently, means that if you have 3 partition of hard drive, you can change the icon for each drive differently. Follow steps below to make it happen. :D
Copy code below to notepad and save it as autorun.inf.
[AutoRun]
ICON=gimp.ico
Put autorun.inf file and icon file in the drive that you want to change. For example you want to change drive c icon, copy autorun.inf and icon file to drive c. Make it hidden. Make sure you change icon's name similarly. You need to restart your pc to see the effect.
